I was looking for an electric kettle that doesn't have the nasty plastic ish materials that come into contact with the boiling water.
It was quite difficult to find one here in Australia in all the major stores.
This kettle is made of full glass inner body and stainless heating plate and inner lid. There's no plastic at all that will come into contact with boiling water which is a big relief as we all boil water in the kettle for years.
The temperature setting function is so useful for us to make green tea, black tea, honey tea or even rehydrating freeze-dried dog food with warm water. It has made our everyday life easier!
We love seeing the different lights changing in the kettle too that indicates the different temperatures range. The light is pleasant and not too sharp. It almost looks like another decoration on the kitchen top.
The kettle gives you two pleasant beeps when boiled, its a nice reminder and not too loud.
In all, this is a best kettle that I ever had that hit all the marks: food safe material/ temperature setting function/ nice lights and sound/ safe model made for AU with correct plug and wattage/wonderful customer service team that does answer your questions and so on!
We have been trying it for two weeks and it works great so far and we are loving it more and more and we very happy we chose this kettle over the others!
